Christian Education Ministry
Sunday School Ministry Rev. Samuel Simon Superintendent Church School Mission Statement: In obedience to Matthew 28:18-20, we will individually and collectively evangelize to reach the unsaved; and disciple Believers in Christ, to teach them how to apply the Word of God to their lives. God be praised for the vital and vibrant Sunday School Ministry of the Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church. Our leadership, teachers, staff, and students have united together to fulfill our overall Church Mission Statement: "Jesus Christ Only, Always" and our Vision Statement: 1.) To Enhance the Worship Experience 2).) To Edify and Equip the Saints; also 3.) Discipleship, Witnessing and Evangelism, through our Sunday School Ministry. We have taken ownership of our vision and the Sunday School Mission Statement as well as renewed our commitment to this vital ministry. The Scriptural basis for our Sunday School Ministry comes from the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20, which reads, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." These words of Jesus Christ clearly command us to both evangelize and educate people through the teaching of our Lord and Savior. Therefore, our goal continues to be to develop an Evangelistic Sunday School Ministry where individuals are brought into a saving relationship with Christ ad grown in their saving relationship with Him an His Church. As always, the MMBC Sunday School Ministry has my prayerful support as it leads the largest most consistent Bible study ministry in our congregation.
